| An Egyptian paper claims that archaeologists have discovered ancient Egyptian coins bearing the name and image of the Biblical Joseph. Some of the coins also have a 'cow' image impressed on them.
|
Not too long ago there were reports that a ring bearing the name of Joseph was found. Today I read an article that claims that ancient coins found in an archaeological dig in Egypt bear the name of Joseph. Apparently there was also found coins bearing a cow and the name of Joseph. This is said to be a reference to Pharaohs dream of 7 fat cows and thin cows.
This in itself does not prove anything of divine origin. It does however indicate that the ancient Egyptians were familiar with the Joseph story. Why though would they make coinage representing this event had it not been an important (and potentially real) event to them?

| Many pray to God and get no answer. This ritual repeats, without change, for years on end. How can we come to love a being, much less see him as our Father, when he seemingly ignores our every word? |
This question has kept me up many nights, for I am one of those individuals who pray and receive no answers...just more questions. I have really struggled with this.
Could there be a logical reason for this silent treatment from God?
Many assume that if something happens then there must be a reason for it...In my experience I have found this is not always the case. On the other hand, the Bible does say that God is a God of purpose. This meaning that if He does something, then there must be a reason for it. But this answer simply illustrates my point. Why do we have to take the words of old Jewish books, that for all intents and purposes were written by men. In a world filled with deception and confusion, why doesn't God just talk to people and let them know what is going on etc...like any good father would?
Look at the below image...this is how we are told to think about God:

How can we honestly view God like this if we never hear from him? When he always leaves us in the dark yet expects us to follow his 'commands', whatever those are.
A possible solution to this problem:
"Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth." [John 9:41]
How is this a solution?
Well, in a sense it follows the principle of, 'to whom much is given much will be asked back.' Look at what Jesus actually said here: "If ye were blind, ye should have no sin" - In other words, since the blind man who was healed admittedly had no knowledge of these events, he was considered innocent. The pharisees, on the other, hand made a point to correct Christ as they went on to show him how they were not blind. The pharisees KNEW what the deal was (so they thought)...and on that account Jesus says they would be counted as guilty.
In other words, the fact that God doesn't talk to us and tell us what's going on leaves us in a state of ignorance. We are sheep without a shepherd, but ultimately this could simply be a means by which God declares us to "have no sin".

| This post should really have been an addition to my last article, but for the sake of brevity I broke it up. Some more shocking news has come forward from the Vatican recently.
|
This information originally came to me through an astronomy source. The main stream media has even picked this up: The Vatican says it's okay to believe in E.T.'s.
In fact, according to the Vatican astronomer, "believing that the universe may contain alien life does not contradict a faith in God." [source]
So what does this mean?
I don't know, this is most likely going to depend on the individual. There are (at least) two different questions here:- There is the UFO issue. Which honestly I believe to generally be government made crafts. Who are they kidding. The stealth fighters we have today were on the drawing boards at Lockhead-Martin in the mid 70's. Wernher von Braun drafted up our current space shuttle many decades ago. My point here, I wouldn't think it past our government to have some pretty nifty technologies; including radar proof, unmanned drones capable of motionless flight (hovering), and other various extremes. They most likely use these crafts for spying purposes. A real world example of this would be the "ufo" recently shot down by Iran:
http://europenews.dk/en/node/26464
http://www.presstv.ir/detail.aspx?id=106809§ionid=351020101
Of coarse, this doesn't explain the object in the famous 15th century painting, Madonna in the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence. Some say in the upper right hand corner you can see a man and dog apparently looking at something in the sky. The image in question is the main image for this article. You can click the image to see the full painting or you can click here to see a blow up of the upper right hand corner.
- There is also the issue of the actual E.T.'s. For me personally, I agree with that statement made by the Vatican astronomer, IF there is life outside this Earth, be-it spirtual or physical, it is all the work of God's hand. I don't believe that beings from other star-systems actually visit us; however, I do find the math quite compelling, and frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if there were other beings out there. Who's to say that the angels of old times aren't what we today perceive as UFO's. According to most ancient legends, people have been visited by the gods for thousands of years...maybe we still are. It is also possible that mankind is being deceived into believing in beings from other star systems. If there is a Satan and he truly wants to turn the world away from God then this would be pretty effective in large part. Imagine this fictional scenario:
- Earth has an actual contact with beings from "out there". These beings are able to perform super human feats, they display a knowledge of physics and mathematics that would boggle Einstein. They show us how our ideas of religion are false and are simply human concepts used to control the rebellious, and often times savage, masses. These beings explain how they are the true seeds of humanity and they now are here to set things right.
If you saw this with your own eyes, would you believe it?
"The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons." [1 Timothy 4:1]
This also reminds me of the interview of Wernher von Braun by Carol Rosin. Just before he died, he gave an interview to Carol Rosin, in which he stated that in order to sustain the military-industrial complex that first a false threat of terrorists would be created and used on the public and then asteroids and finally a false alien threat.
Final thought...
In all my years of studying, the one thing I have learned to be an absolute certainty is that I don't have a clue how the universe actually works, who God is, or what the real answers are...and I probably will never know.

| "God made pre-humans into people, Vatican newspaper says." This was the headline to an article in the Catholic News I just read. This article also stated that evolution was a real natural process. Are we seeing a merger between the two theories?
|
This is a rather interesting turn of events regarding the official public stance of the Catholic Church. In a nutshell the Vatican is stating that evolution is a real and natural process. As a scientifically minded individual I like to see the progress. It reminds me of when the churches had to change policy in the past when new astronomical data proved we weren't the center of the universe. But, should the leader of the catholic church be downplaying their only ace card. Let's face it, if the Bible is just a story book, then what is the pope supposed to be peddling? Why does he even have this job if his whole business/religion is built upon stories? Note: I am not a catholic, I am simply a scientifically minded individual who believes in a God.
Can the two theories of evolution and creation coexist?
Yes they can, and it's not such a stretch. You might need to re-define a few things but it's worth the time. For instance:
- The Earth was not created in six literal days. This misunderstanding is at the root of a lot of errors in thinking. God's creative "days" were in effect before our 24 hour cycle was even established (read Genesis carefully with focus on the original Hebrew understandings of the word 'day' etc). The apostle Paul said we could still enter into God's day of rest, so God's seventh day is still in effect (much longer than 24 literal hours). God's time frame is different from ours. The actual elapsed time for God's creative actions could have been millions of years. In saying this I am not speaking about the creation of the universe itself (which is obviously billions of years old). I am referring to the creation of life forms here on Earth.
- The first creatures, according to both evolution and the Bible, were located in the oceans. These first lifeforms were simple one celled entities. If you understand two areas of study (genetic encoding and computer programming) you will understand what I am about to say. I use this analogy because it works very well to describe what I believe God's creative process essentially was.
- We are simply long strands of DNA/RNA code. These code sequences (or functions) can be re-used for other projects, much like computer code. Scientist can take a 'glowing' gene (a particular code sequence) out of a jellyfish and place it into the embryo (existing DNA code strands) of a puppy. The results - The puppy will glow under certain light just the jellyfish does! So in actuality, the creation of lifeforms was as simple as writing (and re-using) code.
In the beginning, God created the universe and all the various laws and particles that build the atoms. But physical life was not yet created. Earthly life was originally created as a single cell in the ocean. This simple DNA code sequence was to be the building block of all future life. In programmer terms, the void(main) function if you will. One can easily imagine each particular gene sequence as a new programming function. This also enables the code (DNA sequences) to be reused. This would explain why humans and animals share so much DNA...it's "boiler plate" code. This is code that is used quite often, so it's written once and re-used when needed.
God would eventuality add new code to this one simple function and new creatures would be formed. In doing this, God would eventually write some interesting code (DNA sequences). As time went on (millions of years) God would have made many new creatures and introduced many new features that would be sure to reappear in later lifeforms. For instance, the hinged jaw. At some point God was making little fish and got the idea for a hinged jaw, so he wrote the code (DNA sequence) for a hinged jaw. Now, any creature that He wants to have a hinged jaw, He simply plugs in that code. We humans have that same code within our DNA that God originally wrote for some little sea fish.
What I am saying is this, I do believe that God worked incrementally. He started small and worked his way to more complicated life forms over long periods of time. Both science and the Bible indicate this. I do not think he started from scratch each time he wanted to make something new. He took existing DNA sequences and re-wrote some of the code to change it. This invisible process is what we now see as 'changes over time', or evolution.
I still don't buy the monkey theory!
I do not however, believe that we came directly from primates! At the point that God had created the primates but not yet made humans, He was aware of what He wanted humans to be. God knew what man was to look like and what features we were to have. Most of the necessary genetic material was already written. I believe that God simply re-used a lot of boiler plate code when making us. For instance, He didn't rewrite the gene sequence for a hinged jaw when it came to making ours. How do we know, because we have mapped our DNA and we know which sequence is responsible for this feature; We can then locate the exact same sequence in other animals. The code is identical. When God made man, he reused a lot of pre-existing code. We have identical functions as a number of other lifeforms, but this does not mean we came from them. It simply means that the Creator liked the feature, and decided to use it again in later creatures (even us).

| I have often heard that today's extreme weather is a sign of the times. Matthew 24:7 is one of the scriptures that is often used to help lend weight to this idea. So what does the evidence show? |
Many times during a religious discussion someone will mention to me the recent increase in earthquake activity around the globe. Now, although I find the potential for living in the end days quite compelling, I am not sure we should run with ideas without first looking into them with a skeptical mind. For instance:
Has there been an increase in earthquake activity?
That is the million dollar question now isn't it. The only problem is we haven't been actively monitoring and recording earthquakes for very long so we really don't know. Think about it, if some earthquake swallowed up some village a thousand years ago then all we would have to show for it today would be some 'stories' from 'superstitious' natives about an angry earth. Something most westerners would most likely ignore anyway.
Are there more earthquakes or do we now simply have access to better monitoring equipment? Well, one thing is for sure, we certainly do have better equipment. This equipment, or at least the results, is not just available to the scholars among us, anyone can monitor real time global earthquake activity by keeping an eye on the IRIS seismic monitor. Tools such as this will eventually put these types of questions to rest.
Are we in the end days?
I really don't know. 'Signs' such as wars, famines and natural disasters don't do much to convince me. I certainly hate sounding like a scoffer [2 Peter 3:3,4], but really...these things have been a daily event for ages. People talk about the modern atrocities of war; The Assyrians (the individuals Noah was to sound God's condemnation) would play games after battle with the heads of their fallen enemy. Ancients have committed many atrocities that would stifle most people living in today's modern cultures. Now, imagine those living in Europe during the 'dark ages', or even try to imagine this more recent scenario:
Millions are killed in the worst war in recorded history. As soon as the war ends a major epidemic runs rampage over earth killing hundreds of millions of people. Shortly afterwords there is a major collapse of the global economy then within a few years another global war.
Now, had you been born in 1909 this would have been your reality as a young one growing up. It would have been very easy to think the world was ending...but it didn't.
I was thinking the other day about those young investors who committed suicide due to the collapse. Had they just weathered the storm they could have completely recovered their losses and still retired well off. Is this present hardship simply another birth-pang or is it the big one? I really don't know, but I can tell you I am left with this thought running through my mind, hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. Who knows, maybe the two are one in the same.
What makes our time in history unique?
This is a good question. One that deserves an answer! It's true, the scoffers do seem to have some ammunition at their disposal, but all is not lost. So what is unique about our time that could indicate we are living in the last days:
- An increase of knowledge: The information sharing capabilities of our world are unparalleled to anything even dreamt of throughout history.
- Transportation is global and very fast: For thousands of years man could move no faster than a horse could run.
The leaps in both knowledge and transportation have been mind blowing to say the least. In 1909 the write brothers took the first powered flight. In 1969 man first walked on the moon. That's progress! From gliders to space travel in less than a generation. Tell me that isn't unique to our time. [Daniel 12:4]
I would not conclude from these events that we are in the last days. I am simply pointing out some facets of our time that are unique to us and also line up with prophecy. Biblical prophecy says more about these matters, namely the timing of the end days. One might also find the beasts from Daniel and Revelations quite interesting. I find the scripture at Revelation 17:10-11 very intriguing.
"They are also seven kings [or kingdoms]. Five have fallen, one is, the other has not yet come; but when he does come, he must remain for a little while. The beast who once was, and now is not, is an eighth king. He belongs to the seven and is going to his destruction."
Now, the early kingdoms known to the ancient world are: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medea-Persia, Greece and Rome. Yes there were other kingdoms such as the Ottoman Empire that, for all intents and purposes, rivaled the more infamous kingdoms. The reason such empires are excluded from this list is they had virtually no influence over God's people and really don't qualify as a global empire as they also did not spread their language and culture over the know world etc...
Now, the angel tells John that 5 of these kings have fallen. This could be referring to Egypt-Greece. Then the angel tells John that one kingdom, the sixth, is active in his time. The kingdom active in Johns day was Rome. Then after this we are to expect one more global empire. This empire would establish an 8th king of sorts. It will be this with king that will be destroyed in the day of wrath. There are different ways to approach this, being that I am an American of European decent I naturally take a Christian view/slant/bias of these writings. I am aware that other religions (Judaism and Islam) have their own takes on these scriptures not to mention the many disagreements even among Christians regarding these matters. But never the less, we look and read and search... For instance:
- Was Great Britain the seventh king; Therefore making us the eighth king that came from the seventh? U.S.A. technically is not a kingdom, and we are essentially a faction of the British Empire.
- Is the U.S.A. this 7th empire and we will establish some global cabal to govern the ten kings. In modern speak I guess I am referring to the new world order.
In Daniels prophecy, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, has a dream that his wise men could not interpret. Daniel was called in to interpret the king's dream and in doing so gives the king (and us) a glimpse into God's over all plan. This dream featured a statue that was comprised of different elements. I have heard many interpretations to this vision so it's really hard to say for sure what the kingdom of the toes represents. It speaks of a divided people. This could represent a kingdom comprised of varying global power blocs, the new world order if you will. This could also represent America. Being that we truly are a nation without a people. Americans are from all over. "Give us your poor and your masses" was the great call from our land a century ago, and many people heeded that call. America is the great melting pot. The grand experiment in democracy, and now our divisions could aid in our ultimate demise. We don't stand for anything anymore except SUVs and overall excess and waste.
So what does all this mean?
Who knows...but it sure is interesting! I do find it interesting that now, at the near collapse of our system, that major global players are calling for globalization. At the very least, a globally regulated monetary system. The world is being united...slowly being gathered together. I just wonder what our common cause will be? The last time in recorded history that all humans were one people we started to build a huge tower in defiance of God. When we unite this time will it be in defiance against God? [Revelation 19:19]

| At what point do we say, "Enough is enough!" I read an amazing article today. I can not yet imagine how this is even remotely acceptable. My question is, have we gone too far?
|
Today I read an article from the London Telegraph that just hits me as wrong on many levels. Not only are scientists openly creating embryonic human-animal hybrids, they are taking the human DNA from unwilling and unknowing participants.
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/science-news/6179405/Human-tissue-can-be-taken-for-human-animal-embryo-experiements-without-consent.html
After reading this I am almost left without words...These types of occurrences really should make one reflect on the world we live in and the world we are creating for our offspring. I think this crosses a line that just shouldn't be crossed. I would love to hear your thoughts on the matter...
Should we be making human-animal hybrids, for any reason?
Does this possibly violate some natural law?
What possible future implementation could this have?

 | There is a not so well known prophecy known as the prophecy of Pope Malachy or the prophecy of the Popes. According to this prophecy the next Pope will be the last Pope in history! |
"...In 1139 St. Malachy went to Rome to give an account of the affairs of his diocese to the pope, Innocent II, who promised him two palliums for the metropolitan Sees of Armagh and Cashel. While at Rome, he received (according to the Abbé Cucherat) the strange vision of the future wherein was unfolded before his mind the long list of illustrious pontiffs who were to rule the Church until the end of time...."
What does this mean?
According to this prophecy there will be a succession of 112 popes from the first until the end of days. Our current Pope is the 111th. According to this prophecy the next Pope will be an individual referred to as "Peter the Roman" and will be the last Pope.

Be sure to read the fine print (as usual)
"...it should be noted that some commentators over the centuries have pointed out that there is nothing that says there will be no popes between Gloria Olivæ and Petrus Romanus. It may be that there will be a long line of popes between them!"

| It's that time again and Charlie Sheen is pushing for a new investigation into the official 911 story. Should we re-open this case or just let it go? Why do these "truthers" keep pushing for new investigations? Is there any grounds for such an investigation?
|
The "truthers", as the media has labeled them, have made another attempt to re-open the investigation into the official story. Do the "truthers" have any valid arguments? Why the ad hominem attacks against Charlie Sheen and others while ignoring the points raised?
Don't kill the messenger
I am not a "truther" but I can recognize a blatant logical fallacy when I see one. When someone ignores/denies the questions raised by Charlie Sheen because "he sleeps with prostitutes", I question their logical process. In fact, this line of reasoning is so ludicrous I can't believe John McCains daughter would even say this publicly.
For instance: What does Charlie Sheen's old personal habits have to do with the fact that members of the official 9/11 Commission do not believe the official story either!
In fact, many highly educated engineers, architects and other officials (local and Federal) have come forward to voice their suspicion that the official story isn't all there is to it.
Let's be clear here
When stories like this make news the buzz moves quickly. I for one am not a big fan of jumping on the bandwagon and parroting the first thing I hear. In this maze of information (and disinformation) it is important to ignore the commentary and stick with the facts. At present I can not say that it looks as if 9/11 was "an inside job", but some very good questions have been raised. The media and governmental officials seem inclined to perpetually ignore these questions, and as far as I am concerned this just begs the question. Why avoid the questions and attack the man? This is generally a clear sign that all may not be what it seems.
Do your own research and don't let others do your thinking for you!
Sometimes it's hard to know what to believe. I like the old saying, "Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see." This has served me well over the years so I don't hesitate to repeat it. If 9/11 is a topic of interest to you or you are simply wondering what all the buzz is about then look into it for yourself and make your own decisions.
If you can refute any of the questions raised by Sheen and others then I would be quite interested in hearing it. I am no expert but the collapse of the buildings did look as if it was done by a controlled demolition. I am also, quite interested in how the towers fell at free fall speeds. If you aren't quite sure what I am referring to then you should look into Galileo's law of falling bodies.
I personally wouldn't think that these questions entitle one to go around and point fingers at others (without any proof), but they are valid questions that deserve more consideration.

 | I think anyone with basic math skills and a logical approach can see that the U.S. dollar is in real trouble - The kind of trouble you just don't pull out of. So, is this just the fall of another empire or could this be even more monumental?
|
It is pretty safe to assume that the recent economic disaster is of an unparalleled magnitude to anything we have yet experienced. America is a huge country with a lot of forward momentum...and right now that is all we have left. With the current debasing of our dollar we can expect some serious changes in how we used to do business.
History can and often does repeat itself
It would be wise to educate yourself on the Roman empire and how its economic troubles cost them their empire.
So what can we do about it?
I honestly don't know. maybe we shouldn't do anything about it except adapt. Our current monetary system is corrupt and bankrupt to the point of no return. Here is a speech I wrote in college about the Federal Reserve and how our dollars (Federal Reserve Notes) are really interest bearing units of debt. To learn more about our monetary system read this!
So what's next?
Here's a good guess (from my local paper):
http://www.miamiherald.com/news/politics/AP/story/1223712.html
Exactly what does this mean? I don't know but I can read and speculate:
A new economic world order
A global economic collapse then a one world global monetary system. Hmmm, so where is this eventually headed?
Ezekiel 7:19 - "They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity."
UPDATE (Sept. 20 2009): There appears to be no end in sight in regards to this talk of a new global economic order. Just today I ran across this article:

| There are many ancient texts that have been found from many different cultures. While most of these texts don't claim divine inspiration they are still invaluable in helping us to understand the world and mindset of those who lived thousands of years ago in very, very different times.
|
When reading the Bible we tend to visualize the events using images and thoughts that are familiar to us. Like the Jesus movies where all the actors have English accents etc... This just isn't historically accurate!
The same can be said for most of scripture. Most people read into scripture, instead of read from it. It's not so much the Bible's fault as it is the preachers who fail to mention these topics or the readers who simply don't care enough to research matters.
Why read other ancient texts?
Let's assume that the Bible is the inspired word of God and that it is our guide book...nothing more is needed. OK, This may be the case, but then why does the Bible mention other books that are not included in the canon i.e. Jashar, Enoch etc? Should we fail to read what the Bible writers likely read themselves? Even if the books arent of Jewish origin...so what!?! When we read these other texts we get a larger picture of the world back then, how people thought and lived. We also begin to find correlations in their stories and "myths", such as Gilgamesh and the flood.
If you haven't already, you should take some time and familiarize yourself with a few of these texts:
You should also read some of Flavius Josephus's works on the early Jews.
http://www.biblestudytools.com/History/BC/FlaviusJosephus/
I personally found book one to be a very interesting account of the Genesis era events. Also Josephus made a decent argument to the Greeks in reference to their concept of the atom (well, a small indivisible unit), death, and how this fits in with the Jewish concept of Hades.

 | What is wisdom? Is it more important than intelligence? These are good questions that are surrounded by much philosophical debate. I think I can offer an analogy that might help.
|
Well, what IS wisdom?
This debate arose in one of my logic based philosophy classes some time ago. There are many ways we can try to imagine this and there are many various outcomes we can achieve. For starters I want to distinguish between (a) knowledge (b) intelligence (c) wisdom.
A: Knowledge is simply a collection of facts. In can be quite useful or simply used to engage in interesting small talk.
B: Intelligence is the ability to manipulate, organize, make connections between, and better understand this knowledge.
C: Wisdom is the application of this knowledge.
Example. You may know that smoking is bad for you. That's knowledge. You might be able to understand how the chemicals react in your body causing cellular degeneration and ultimately cancer. That would entail some measure of intelligence. Now, what does the wise person do with this knowledge? He applies it and quits smoking!
"A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself" Proverbs 27:12
This line was written by Solomon, one of the wisest men to ever live. Let's break this down in light of what we just learned.
"A prudent man foreseeth the evil"
Here is the definition of 'prudent' from Indiana University Definitions:
Prudent: Wise in handling practical matters; exercising good judgement [sic] or common sense; careful in regard to one's own interest; careful about one's conduct.
So in this example the man will have knowledge, the knowledge of evil. He has to in order to recognize it when he sees it. So, the man has knowledge, but the man doesn't stop there:
"and hideth himself".
See, the wise man takes action on his knowledge. So in this sense, wisdom is the application of knowledge.
Using this analogy, intelligence is useful but certainly not necessary. In fact, intelligence must be over rated, for either God or evolution saw fit to make most people without any. I don't mean to come off as condescending, but this is simply what I observe. In all fairness my observations may be biased as to my local. I live in America, the land of the worst public education available in the developed world.
Bottom Line: knowledge and intelligence may be one of your gifts but alone these gifts wont help you much. It is wisdom that is truly of value and it is this attribute we should strive to attain.
Read your Proverbs and philosophy (philosophy is Greek φιλοσοφία: 'love of wisdom'). Educate yourself, learn some math (Mathematics is more than you may realize: math paper math paper) and look into the sciences. Gain general knowledge about the world around you and learn to act in harmony with it. Above all else, learn to be wise.

Today I ran across an interesting article written by Dr. Mercola. It states what many have already come to know as a sad and scary fact. I will post the link and let you make your own decision.

Martial law and/or loss of rights during swine flu?
I know it sounds quite extreme but those in charge of certain disaster responses have recommended just that. In fact, legislation is currently in the works regarding this very thing. If this is the case, it could cause problems for many, many people on many different social levels. We already have actual U.S. soldiers training for active duty here on U.S. soil in order to help stop protesters. An interesting note: Active duty military is not allowed to be deployed within the U.S., that is what our national guard is for. It is a violation of the U.S. Constitution to have active duty military policing the American people. It is called Posse Comitatus and if you are unfamiliar with this then be sure to read up on it.
I am very interested in your comments about the swine flu. Are you concerned about it? Are you going to take the vaccine? Have you read about the 1976 swine-flu scare? Note: The 1976 swine-flu escaped from a government lab on an army base and the vaccine killed more people than the flu. Are you read up on the current controversy regarding the possible forced inoculations with an untested and potentially dangerous drug? Are you aware that medical professionals are refusing the shot? Have you taken into consideration how the makers of the vaccines have been granted legal immunity from any ill side effects caused by their drugs...including death?
So essentially, in a nut shell, the situation is as follows:
Millions of people could potentially be forced against their will to take an untested vaccine that for all intents and purposes could prove quite harmful to them/you. If you do get sick (read up on Guillain-Barre syndrome) neither you or your loved ones will have any legal recourse you can take against the vaccine makers.
Another interesting topic to look into if you are reading up on vaccines is how Baxter purposely sold HIV tainted medicine to other countries throughout Europe instead of disposing of them. This was after they found out the drugs were tainted and therefore could not be sold in the U.S.! Had they disposed of these drugs they would have lost billions in revenue, so they slip them under the rug over-seas and salvaged what profits they could - "The love of money..."
You have a right NOT to take the flu shot. Below are two separate government sources that cite the Nuremberg Code:

2) http://ohsr.od.nih.gov/guidelines/nuremberg.html

Interesting times are upon us for sure. I am not really a big prophecy nut but I do find this current push towards a global economic power structure quite intriguing.
Daniel and Revelation anyone?
I have read the book of Daniel and Revelation many times. I am the first to admit that the language is largely symbolic and ambiguous. There simply are different interpretations one can come to even after a diligent study of the scriptures and related sources. But, one thing seems quite clear:
We are to have 7 major world powers that rule over the Jewish nation. After these seven kings have fulfilled their time, the world will unite. As far as I can tell (and I have read many different interpretations about this and some seem quite logical) The seven world powers that ruled over and/or dominated the Jewish nation (this is who the Bible was written to/for) are: Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Medio-Persia, Greece, Rome and the Anglo-American empire.
When the angel was giving John the vision of the apocalypse, John asked what the vision of the beasts meant. The angel told him that these beasts stood for 7 kings. Five of them have already fallen (Egypt through Greece). One was still in power (Rome) and there was to be one more dominant empire to rule over Gods people. It's true there have been many other empires in the region, the Ottoman empire for one, but I personally believe that the Anglo-American empire fits this better. We have had more influence over the world as a whole than the Ottomans ever did! A perfect Example is that the word Coca-Cola is one of the most recognized words in the world. We are everywhere and our global influence is indisputable. How long we remain this way is up for debate.
So what does this mean?
I don't know. But I do find it interesting that the Bible said that there would be 7 world powers that affect God's people then the world would globalize (against God). It also seems to indicate that this union would be economic in nature. It mentions we will throw our money in the streets and how this will seriously effect the traveling merchants (international bankers and the like ?) This might have seemed a bit extreme a few years ago but today's news is quite different. Why does this matter? Well, it's is this economic crash, this throwing our useless, devalued money into the streets that ushers in the 'mark of the beast'. This global economic system (or whatever) that we will have to use in order buy or sell.
Currently we are seeing an unprecedented and drastic devaluation of the dollar, and a huge push globally for a single global reserve currency - a correlation perhaps? I don't know but I am keeping an eye out...
